So, my short story prequel giving readers a glimpse of Dawson and Izzy's first go at love grew. The characters had A LOT to say. The 10K word short story I had planned became a 42K word novel. Needless to say, I had to regroup on my debut release plan. I released Beats of the Heart on November 2, 2018. The ride has been wild. Readers seem to be enjoying part one of Dawson and Izzy's lifetime love story. So many author friends have helped make my release a success. It is a very humbling experience.
